BA Angus StoreWhat We Do
We are local farmers passionate about connecting people to the farm. We sell farm-to-table meats, produce, and pantry items so folks can enjoy healthy, fresh, locally-grown food. We also host farm tours and provide a variety of services to local homesteads. We believe that everyone deserves access to healthy, wholesome food, regardless of income or circumstance. That’s why we’re proud to partner with our local food bank through The Farm to Families Program (FFP). This innovative initiative allows us to provide fresh, locally-grown produce and meats to families in need, helping to bridge the gap between food insecurity and a healthy, thriving community.
We raise grass-fed, grass-finished beef. It takes about two and a half years to get a cow ready for harvest utilizing this method; but, with high-quality genetics and a little time/patience, we produce very healthy, flavorful beef that we typically grade at choice or better.
We raise heirloom, heritage breed turkeys. Our turkeys are raised and processed on property for Thanksgiving and Christmas. You can order this holiday staple wood-smoked (fully cooked) or raw and select one of our farm developed proprietary seasoning blends. Turkeys can be picked up at the farm, fresh, never frozen, the week before Thanksgiving or the week before Christmas.
Our honey is unfiltered, raw, and unprocessed, preserving all its natural goodness.
Pasture-raised rabbit meat; richer flavor (almost slightly sweat) than chicken and has higher protein, vitamin, and mineral content. Our rabbits are approximately three to four pounds when harvested.
We raise four different breeds of heirloom chickens, providing you with a colorful dozen eggs. Leave our "Farm Gathered" version on the countertop for up to 3 weeks for added color and appeal to your kitchen. Our Market Fresh eggs are washed and refrigerated to be picked up at the Farmer's Market.
Our all natural fresh grown okra is a delightful addition to any meal. With its tender texture and mild flavor, okra adds a unique and delicious twist to a variety of dishes.
Our cantaloupe is free from harmful chemicals and pesticides, ensuring that you can enjoy its pure and natural taste.
Indulge in the sweetest taste of summer with our all-natural, farm-fresh watermelon! Grown with love and care on our sun-kissed fields, our juicy watermelons are bursting with refreshing flavor and nutrients
Sourced from Texas Hill Country Olive Oil company; these are the real deal from a Texas-Italian family run business. All of their oils and balsamic are crafted with the highest quality ingredients to provide rich flavors and healthy foods.
Sourced from a small Farm in Waxahachie, Texas; we provide raw, unprocessed, wild-flower honey which preserves all its natural goodness and health benefits.
Sourced from both inhouse and our trusted Texas Suppliers; these herbs and seasonings will complete your culinary experience.
We grow a bunch of different types of produce throughout our growing season using organic growing methods. Our first line of defense is to utilize good bugs to combat the bad bugs, as well as the use of weed fabrics and our specialized blends of composts/manures taken from the farm. Check the website often for a listing of items being harvested or planted.
Our herb garden is made up of various types of herbs that can be used for culinary or medicinal purposes. We offer fresh cuttings, dried, or in our farm developed seasoning mixes.
Our flower gardens are dual or multi-purpose beyond just being visually attractive to visitors. We use them to attract birds, bees, and other pollinators to make sure the garden stays in tip-top shape; additionally certain flowers that we plant can also provide medicinal or help control bad insect populations as well.
